I should have mentioned spawn times but they can vary so much due to weather conditions, mostly the water temperature though, which can get to the perfect temp and then in short time a cold front can change things.

I&#039;ve read that it can take as little as a 2 degrees Celsius drop or to move below 15 degrees Celcius for smallmouth males to abandon the nest.
