I lived for almost 30 years in Ontario and enjoyed the fishing when I got the chance but when I moved to New Brunswick I changed my entire life and fishing became the thing that held me here.

I love fishing here.

Hey Dave, it sucks doesn’t it?

Most of the places I fish trout here is done Sept. 15 but we have so many other places here we can fish until Oct. 15 that I don’t mind so much.

I can still fish pickerel, bass and Atlantic salmon until Oct. 15 and then there are some places I can even fish until mid Nov. but that gets a little too chilly for me then.

I would still like to get out for a few more days on the water and then I will sleep until spring and start all over again.

Looks like you had a pretty sweet day on the crick James!

Sadly, trout season closes today here in ontario, so now I can only dream about em for the next 7 months!
