Well the biggest Pickerel I have caught was 24" and I am sure I have had a few over the years an inch or two bigger that didn't quite get into the boat for a real release.

A friend I took fishing a few years ago caught a 26" pickerel as his first ever pickerel.

I have heard that there are larger pickerel but I haven't seen one in 30 years.

Ahhhh....your pickeral look quite a bit like the pike we have here in Ontario. Not sure if they get as big. Large fish around here go between 40 and 50 inches. But oddly enough we have a fish called pickeral/walleye here. Smaller than pike though. I think the record is around 38 inches or slightly larger.
