Thanks James, and hello Robert.

New Brunswick is a pretty cool place to live and part of that is our fishing. It's fun to fly fish for trout, salmon, pickerel and bass.

I actually moved from Ontario, many years ago, to Moncton and the main reason was the fishing. I was introduced to fly fishing down here and came he to stay.

So much fun and never enough time.

Hello Robert,
If you were looking to fly fish for trout you could spend some time in the Sussex area fishing on the kennebecasis River. It is a very long river sytem that has lots of trout in it. There are stretches that are catch and release only just so you know. If you were looking to fly fish for salmon then you will have to go to the Miramichi. Hope this helps.

The family is driving from Guelph Ontario out to Halifax to drop off our daughter for her second year at Dalhousie on 26Aug10. We will take a more leisurely drive back to home on or about the 31Aug and thought of stopping by for a few hours of fly fishing. Where do you recommend?
