We don't have a lot of different species here where I live but I would love to get a carp on the fly.

I see you have pickeral and walleye together.

Here in New Brunswick the pickerel we fish are like your norther pike. They just don't get to huge sizes like pike tend to. But they look a lot a like.

When I lived in Ontario my foster brother had a huge walleye on the wall of his entertainment room but he has always called it a pickerel.

I must say, I fly fish for nearly every species of fish that are available around here. Sure, I still pull out the old spinning gear every now and then, but for me, satisfaction is in fly fishing without doubt. Theres nothing like catching a fish on a fly you've tied yourself.

Some of the species I fly fish for here in ontario are:
Bass (large and smallmouth)
Pike
Pickeral/Walleye
Muskie
Trout
Salmon
Carp
Gar Pike
Sucker

Jeez.....I could go on and on!!

Great post!
